Font changes in Flashcards in Rise
I love the ability to change the font size on flashcards. Before this new feature, the SME spent a great deal of time rewording so that all of the text would fit on a card without the scrolling appearing. It looked great but...
Now that the updates to font changes have been implemented, I've had to go back and resize the text to avoid scrolling again. I've noticed that the margins are huge which means that I need to resize to a very small font size (12).
It seems as though the margins were changed when the ability to change font sizes was added.
Is there anyway that I can change the margins so that I can use a larger font size?

Can you also change the font itself?
Hi Mark,
Yes, you can! Check out this article to learn how to select which font a Rise 360 course uses. This font change will also extend to the blocks so whichever font you choose will be the font the Flashcard block will use.

Thanks for the quick reply, Jose, but unfortunately it uses the headings font for the body copy of the flashcard. I'd like to use the font I selected for the body. Curious as to why I can't adjust that?

Hi Michelle! Here's how you can edit the font size in a flashcard in Rise:
- Click on Edit
- Select and highlight the card text you want to change
- You will see a pop-up where you can select T! and pick the font size you want to use.
I hope this helps!

How do you change the font size in flashcards in Rise? I can't see any place to change the font or the font size for flashcards.
You're right Michelle. The margins were changed, but that was not
intentional. We'll have a fix released for this sometime next week.- MichelleKearnsCommunity Member
This is fantastic! Thanks so much for your prompt reply.
