Getting Rid of Back to Top Button
On Slide 3.9, when a key trigger is executed, a "Back to Top button appears. I do not need or want this button. Can it be suppressed? —Thanks!

Hi StevenBenassi, I am actually having the opposite problem here. My back to top button has disappeared on its own. And when I go to the settings as you explained it appears to be disabled. The button was working fine a couple days ago, the only thing that changed was turning off the menu as we don't need it for this project. Is not possible to have it without it? Thanks!!!

According to Articulate, if you turn off all the player tabs (menu, notes, etc), Storyline turns off the skip navigation shortcut for you, and the player setting to disable it is grayed-out.
Hello angieserratos2,
We'll need to look at your project file to know precisely how to correct the behavior. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or privately by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
Hi Janet!
It sounds like you're trying to disable the Skip Navigation button in your Storyline course!
The Skip Navigation shortcut is enabled by default, and we recommend keeping it enabled. The shortcut becomes visible temporarily after navigating through all the slide objects, so sighted keyboard users can also take advantage of this time-saving feature. However, you can turn it off should you need to do so.
- Go to the Home tab on the Storyline ribbon and click Player.
- When the player properties window opens, click Other on the ribbon.
- Mark the box to Disable skip navigation shortcut.
I've also attached a fixed version of your .story file, with the Skip Navigation feature disabled. Please let me know if you have any more questions!
