HELP! Lost Work...Auto Save didn't work?
My computer froze and I had to do a "End Task" restart. I have Auto save on my Articulate set up, but when I opened the file back up ALL MY WORK FROM TODAY IS GONE!
Does anyone know how I can find auto saved files?
I have tried "Windows Explorer: %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline," but no files are coming up other than at 9:40 am or 3:50pm, its like NOTHING saved between those times?
I am so worried I lost 6 hours worth of work!
Why didn't my auto save save?
Can someone help me?
Thank you PhilMayor, it was a file I have been working on for a while. I have excepted (but not happy) with the fact that is was all lost. I am chalking this up to a sad lesson! (o:
It isn't autosave only file recovery, it works in most cases but I wouldn't rely on it, I save regularly
Sorry to hear this, did you start a new file or was it a previously saved file? If it was a new file for recovery to start you must save it.
When you open the file does it give you the recovery dialogue? IT is likely you have lost the work if not.
