Help please! Object states is not working.
Hi!
I need help. I am at a loss why my hover state isn't working. I have spent a lot time building and rebuilding. I had the object built using shapes that were grouped but only the top box would hover, so then I built the shape in photoshop and made each state an image, but the hover is not working. Any help is much appreciated.

I am not sure why your buttons are acting weird - I recreated one with merge shapes and added a hover, and it worked as expected (attached)

I checked your SL and deleted your states, and created new ones by using "New State" instead of "Duplicate state" and copied the envisioned styles (dark to Hover state, etc.). Thereafter all worked well.
One other change I would make, is adding the text from your Layer 1 to the selected state - see a copy below. This way you could also use a Button set, and save on variables.
