How can I remove the landing page from my course navigation?

Please add my voice to this as well...it seems like it should be relatively low hanging fruit to get to pick which page I start on, no?

Any news on this? 

I would also like to add my vote to have an option to remove the landing/start page where all the learner does is select the start button. Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the files after publishing or add a line of script that bypasses the landing/start page? 

3 years on and no updates... is this still on the roadmap? Is there a copy of this development roadmap published anywhere?
