How to publish multiple story files?

Hello. I'm having trouble with the Storyline Publish method.
I found an error in the previously used WBT, so I edited the source (*.story file) to correct it.
However, the source consists of multiple *.story files like Chapter1 to 3, and I don't know how to publish these multiple *.story files.
Any advice, such as it is written in XX, is welcome. Can anyone help me?

Thank you

  • Hello Hideki,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are hoping to accomplish.

I'm not sure that I'm following your setup. If you have multiple .story files that need to be updated, these will need to be updated individually within the Storyline software and re-published.

    Hello Leslie-san,

Thank you for your reply. I have update all .story files that I need to update, I know how publish  with single .story file, but I do not know how to in this case. I saw one zip file on our LMS.  After extract it. I saw some SCO01 to SCO03 folders .story file inside in each. And some .xsd file under the top folder .

  • Hello, Hideki.

    Thank you for clarifying!

When you publish from Storyline to a SCORM package, the zipped file doesn't include a .xsd file (or the .story files), which leads me to believe that this was done either manually or through third-party software that can combine several packages into one.

As Leslie mentioned above, you would need to publish the .story files individually from Storyline.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello Maria-san,

There was wrong part with my writing, sorry.

There no .story file in the folder.  I took screenshots of original folder and my trial.

After try, LMS showed NOT FOUND!  Please see the attachment file.

    Thank you and best regards.

  • Thank you for that image, Hideki.

It looks like you have the published output from multiple Storyline courses linked in a single package.

This is not something we can offer support for, but you could take a look at the following:

Storyline: Track Multiple SCOs in the Same Course

Hopefully, someone in the community familiar with this setup can chime in to help.
