I cannot add new custom fonts to Rise
Good afternoon!
When I try to add a new custom font to Rise, I get the following error:
Error
Something went wrong.
Please try again or contact support if the problem persists.
In the Edge browser console the error is described as:
https://rise.articulate.com/api/rise-runtime/ducks/rise/typefaces/CREATE_TYPEFACE 400 (Bad Request)
I have checked the woff files in an independent viewer so I do not think they are an issue here.
Could you please advise?
Many thanks!
Ben.

Hey Luciana,
Thank you for your response!
I held off responding as I wanted to try importing a different copy of the WOFF font file that was causing issues. I have now successfully imported it thankfully, so this is a non-issue.
I was thrown as I could test/preview the font in other ways, but it must have been corrupted somehow.Kind regards,
BenHello BenFrench2025,
You're welcome, I'm happy to help!
Thanks so much for letting me know that a new copy of the WOFF font file did the trick! I'm sure this will be helpful to folks who come across this discussion in the future.

Hello BenFrench2025,
Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry you're encountering this error message when inserting your Custom Font into Rise 360.
- What custom font are you using? Are you experiencing this error message when inserting any other custom font files or just this specific font?
- You mentioned you are using Edge. Do you experience this behavior using another browser or an incognito window?
- I'm curious if clearing your browser's cache and inserting the custom fonts will resolve this issue.
- Does this error occur when inserting the custom font files into a new Rise 360 course?
It would be helpful to examine your font files more closely. Please upload your WOFF files to this thread or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
