Image and Audio in Rise "Timeline" block is displaying twice
I've used the timeline to display images and audio in the past, but never had this happen. It is displaying the image and audio at the top and bottom of each.
I have attached how it looks. The middle part is where my timeline text would be.
Does anybody know how to turn this off or change it? I've looked everywhere. Trying to finish this course before the end of the year and this is the last bit I need to finish. :)

We are also having the same type of issue but with Process blocks. We have a process block with audio on each of the 5 steps, then a review question, then another process block with audio on each step. When you get to the second process block and play the audio for the first step - it also plays the audio for the first process block's first step at the same time - so you are hearing two different audio files from two different process blocks at the same time. Is there any type of fix for this? Thanks!
Hello MegBEIER, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update fixes the issue you encountered, where the audio of the current Process block plays the audio of the other Process blocks on the same lesson.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported.
Hi MegBEIER!
Sorry to hear audio from Rise 360 Process Blocks is not playing back as expected!
I see that you've connected with my teammate Woojin, through a support case. As Woojin shared, we have this behavior logged as a bug in Rise 360. This bug causes:
- Playing the audio of the current Process Block also plays audio of the other Process Blocks within the same Lesson.
I've linked this discussion to the bug report, so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
Hi GreggCondon and MedelinSombrio,
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with the Timeline block in Rise 360. I appreciate you sharing your experience. We have identified this behavior as a bug and confirmed that it happens when adding a picture and audio to a Timeline block.
Our product team is already aware of the issue, and we'll let you know once a fix is available. In the meantime, here are details on how we identify and tackle bugs.

Thank you for the response. I will just remove the images for now as we need to roll out the course this week and will update with the images once the issue is resolved.
Happy New Year.

We are experiencing the same issue. When using the "Timeline" block, audio and image is displaying twice. If we will add either audio or image, it will just display once. But if we add both image and audio then the issue will exist. Is there a fix to this issue?
Hi GreggCondon,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this behavior. We're not seeing this behavior reported by other users, and I'm also not experiencing the issue when I test in a new Rise 360 course. I'd like to ask a few questions to clarify the behavior:
- Do you experience the behavior when you edit the affected course on other browsers?
- Are you able to consistently replicate the behavior using any video block?
- If the issue is isolated to a single block, have you tried recreating it?
- Does clearing your browser's cache help?
If the issue affects more than one of your courses, please open a case with our support team here to connect with a support engineer for further troubleshooting.

I am experiencing the same issue. Is there a estimated timeline to when this glitch will be resolved? I am looking to roll out a training and require this corrected.
Hi DianaCrawford-4! We've just fixed this in Rise 360. Please let me know if you don't see these changes!
