Image sizing and scaling issue
FYI - support got back to me quickly and is investigating the issue. The following recommendations were given. I chose option 3, which worked.
"Based on my investigation, the issue happens specifically for placeholder pictures used in slide master layouts. If the dimensions of the picture being placed are smaller than the size of the placeholder picture, it doesn't scale up when the project is previewed/published. I’ve logged it as a possible software bug.
You can try any of the following workarounds:- Manually insert the picture you want to use from Insert > Picture on the menu and adjust dimensions/cropping
- Use a higher-resolution picture that matches or exceeds the placeholder picture's dimensions.
- In your project, right-click the picture and select Export Picture > Save Picture. This will save a copy of the picture based on how it looks on the slide during development. You can then use it on the placeholder."
Thanks folks!
