Good news! We've got another update.
You can now bulk apply Brands to multiple courses. This is available in your Private folder and in any team folder where you have Owner or Manager permissions.
- Hover over and select the items you'd like to modify.
- Click the Apply Brands icon in the upper-right of the dashboard.
- Select a brand from the list and click Apply.
Once you apply a brand to a training, the name is listed on its dashboard content card.
I did complete the survey—which I wish had included a field at the end for extra notes (without jumping to the next thing if I hit Return instead of Shift+Return...).
Here's my list (some were entered in the survey; some not):
- Add an obvious way to save a brand for personal use or for Team access (like when saving Block Templates).
- Add a "No brand" option to the selection list. This would allow for disconnecting a course from any brand, in case one wants to start fresh with the existing settings.
- Provide creator and/or admin controls to lock a brand. That's so everyone on a Team can apply a brand, but only specified users can edit it.
- Make it easier to access Manage Brands. That should be available from my Rise dashboard. (Here's the current process: open a course, click to go to Themes, click to Edit the brand, click Manage Brands. Manage Brands should remain available at this point, but I shouldn't have to do all that to edit a brand.)
-
Put the SAVE button at the top of the Manage Brands page, in addition to having it at the bottom. When it's just at the bottom, it's too easy to overlook.
I wholeheartedly agree with the second bullet that JudyNollet mentioned above. I wanted to remove the Brand from a course and found that I couldn't do it.
