Insert equations into questions ... for example multiple choice
In the storyline 3 version for 2018, the utility of inserting tables was annexed and that is very good, my question for the designers is: why was not an equation editor for storyline 3 contemplated ?, that would have been fabulous. For example, the Wondershare QuizCreator software brings its integrated equation editor, why not storyline ?.
I hope this comment is useful.
Sorry for my English.
Hello everyone, 🎉
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 97, we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the new features we’ve included is:
- Build math equations using LaTeX syntax and revise them by adding color and alt text, all within Storyline 360.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Building Math equations has also been released in Rise 360 today!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

I'd like to throw in my vote for this feature as well. We are looking to move our entire Math curriculum to a combination of Rise and Storyline, but the lack of an equation editor in either is a major concern that has us currently using a third-party solution.

An equation editor is needed. I work on a fair share of chemistry and math projects where I'll add equations as images with alt text (and that's a nightmare) or as a web object to make use of MathML. Neither option is ideal.
Thanks for adding your voice, Nathan. We'll let you know if we add an equation editor to Storyline 360 in the future!

Back to request the equation editor feature. Suggestion - instead of developing from scratch, why not piggyback on existing equation editors (Math Type, etc) and get a quick workaround feature? Any equation functionality would be appreciated.

Agreed. I need an "equation/math/LaTeX bloc" so bad in RISE...
Thanks for your feedback Fabien! We have a feature request logged for that, so I'll be sure to add your voice to that discussion.

Yes! I have math instructors asking for an equation editor for Storyline 360. +1 on the request.

I am also looking for an equation editor. I am creating a tool within my course that will have learners rate themselves after reading statements (i.e. "I avoid difficult encounters with my peers.") using a Likert scale, which will be assigned a variable given the value (1-5) that they enter. I have that entry and variable assignment figured out. But I need a results slide to total their results, then calculate an average so that they can see where they fall in the different Conflict resolution styles.
