Is it possible to add a border to a hotspot?

SME has requested that I add a highlight that further directs the learner's attention to a hotspot that they're supposed to click. My solution (I thought) would be to add a simple 4-pt aqua border to the hotspot and adding the wheel entrance animation. However, the animation and the border never appear. The hotspot still shows up, but the visual cue (i.e. the new border) doesn't show.

  • You can use a shape as a hotspot if you prefer, and then adjust the formatting of the shape. You may wish to use a transparent fill and a solid shape outline with a glow shape effect. You can also add an animation to the shape as well, if you want.

Good grief. Don't know why I didn't think about that.

    Pretty embarassing.

  • Don't worry about it. If this solution works for you, please mark it as solved. This can help others find the answer. Otherwise, feel free to ask a follow-up question.
