Issue Importing Recently Exported SCORM Files from Rise 360 to LMS
Hi everyone,
We are currently experiencing an issue when importing SCORM packages exported from Rise 360 into our LMS.
- The SCORM files that were exported previously can still be imported successfully.
- However, the SCORM packages exported recently from Rise 360 fail to import and show an error message in the LMS.
Could you please help us investigate this issue?
If needed, we can provide a sample SCORM file that is failing to import and details of our LMS environment.
Thank you very much!

Upon opening a ticket regarding this topic, Articulate has responded that they have changed some logic when exporting SCORMS to prevent learners bypassing progress tracking. Therefore they recommend publishing "for web" if used outside an LMS.
We are currently testing this.

Thank you very much,
Our team tried to publish "for web" format and it worked. But I think this format should not be used for LMS, it is not reasonable. Hopefully Articulate will have more suitable updates.

Hi,
I have the same issue here! I tested it on Scorm Cloud and all works well. But as soon as our agency uploads the SCORM it returns

Hello,
The error message on LMS is similar to our case. Have you found a solution for this problem?

I opened a ticked because of the error. Articulate responded as follows:
We recently added logic in Rise 360 that prevents exported courses from loading when they are launched outside the intended Rise player. When this occurs, the error message you’re seeing appears.
This change was implemented in response to reports where quizzes opened in a new browser tab were not being tracked correctly by the LMS. In those cases, learners could bypass progress tracking, retake assessments without limits, and return with correct answers, compromising the integrity of the course data.
It might help if you also open a ticket - the more people complain about this the better.
In my case there is no quiz included. This is a major problem for me and my team, since now we can no longer publish any more modules on our webpage! We usually publish on Sitecore Content Delivery servers where all our websites are also hosted.

Have you tried on SCORM Cloud?

Everything is fine on Scorm cloud, but when uploading to LMS the error still occurs
