Issue Uploading Next Big Idea Club Courses to SuccessFactors
I'm experiencing a very niche issue when trying to upload any of the Next Big Idea Club courses that Articulate makes available.
When uploading into my LMS, SuccessFactors, these courses ALWAYS fail for me (but not for a colleague) and the issue is ALWAYS the image of the book cover.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
(I'm publishing to LMS, SCORM 1.2, Tracked using Course Completion, Reporting as Passed/Incomplete, with the Exit Course Link enabled)

We also use SFactors, and we occasionally use the Next Big Idea Club videos within different courses; but we have not seen this problem. Have you tried publishing to SCORM 2004? And have you asked your colleague what he or she outputs to?

I haven't tried SCORM 2004, but I'm told our LMS is configured to accept SCORM 1.2 (I wasn't around when it was implemented). My colleague uses the same output configuration that I use and can even successfully upload the exact same output files that I have published.

Hi WrennCorcoran ,
Thanks for sharing the details here. That’s definitely an unusual one, especially since it’s specific to the Next Big Idea Club courses and tied to the book cover image.
I also appreciate JHauglie chiming in with his SuccessFactors experience. That comparison is helpful and suggests this may be environment- or output-specific.
Since this works for a colleague but not for you, it’s worth ruling out browser-related factors first:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.
- Try an Incognito or private window to rule out extensions.
- Test a different, fully up-to-date browser and confirm JavaScript is enabled.
- You can also confirm supported browsers here.
I see you’ve already opened a support case, that’s great. The team will be able to dig into the specifics there, especially any SuccessFactors error details or differences between environments.

I've cleared my browser cache a couple times since this issue started, and I don't have access to Incognito mode on my work computer. I did confirm that JavaScript is enabled.
I just tried uploading through Edge (I usually use Chrome) and received the same error message.
