Issue with same Trigger being copied to other objects

Another update: I have tried Wendy's copy method and that worked. Miraculously, a newly created file doing the same as I did the first time, now works as I expect.
Still a mystery, but the issue is gone ...
Same thing is happening to me (all these years later in 2022). I'll try what Jan tried. Fingers crossed.
