JAWS read English in French Rise Course
Hi there,
I'm trying to build a Rise course with accessibility in French. However, JAWS still recognize the course in English and read out English for some items even the labels have been changed to built-in labels set - French. Is there a solution for this without messing with codes?

Hi!
It looks like you submitted a support case for this issue. I can see that my colleague, Chester has requested a copy of your Rise course for testing. If you still seeing this issue, please feel free to share your course and we'd be more than happy to take a closer look! Thanks!

Hello ICOM,
Just chiming in - I'm curious about which parts are being announced in English. Using the built-in French labels ensures that your course is using the right language code. JAWS automatically switches to the language when the voice synthesizer supports it. Have you tried setting Windows in French as well, and then trying it again?
It's also worth mentioning that we recently launched a feature where screen reader labels can be modified and localized. These used to be only in English and are hard-coded. Now we have them translated into all 4 built-in languages we support, ready to use! You can find it in Settings -> Labels -> Screen reader announcement.Regards,
Marvie
