Lag time in Rise 360
I am experiencing lag time between typing characters on the screen and when they show up in my Rise course. It started happening late yesterday afternoon.
I had someone else log in and they experienced the same thing. I'm in a time crunch since the course needs to go live on Monday. Any suggestions??

Hello, from Santiago, Chile, I have the same problem. There's a very uncomfortable time lag for working.
Hello jorgeescobar-4f,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing lag time when using Rise 360. I'm not able to experience this on my end.
- What browser are you currently using? I'm curious if you experience this when using an incognito window. As my colleague Eric mentioned, it's best to run the latest version of your browser.
- Are you experiencing a lag when only using a specific block or across your entire course?
We recommend disabling all browser plugins and trying to edit your training again to see if that improves performance. Also, some users have experienced a lag in responsiveness when editing larger courses.
If you're still experiencing issues, feel free to share a screen recording of your experience so we can investigate this further. We'll be happy to continue the conversation in this thread or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am also experiencing this today in Rise. It's pretty delayed, and makes it difficult enough to work that I am having to type outside of Rise completely, copy and paste into Rise, then reformat in Rise. I've tried all suggestions, but nothing's worked. (Restarting browser (Chrome), changing browsers (Edge), refreshing the page, clearing cache) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
Hi MichelleKiker,
Sorry to hear about your experience with Rise 360. I'm not seeing the lagging issue on my end, and we haven't received any similar reports lately.
I appreciate you for applying the initial troubleshooting steps. Have you also tried using Incognito mode to rule out possible browser extensions that may be causing the problem? Also, make sure that your browser has the latest updates.
If the issue persists, let me know, and I'd be more than happy to assist you further. You can also connect with us privately in a support case if you want more targeted help.

Hi Eric,
I am experiencing this same lag issue when typing, not happening in other programs or in other tabs within the same browser session. Closed the session and started a new one but to no avail. I checked the status page and didn't see any issues. Any ideas? I am using Safari on a 2019 Intel Mac.
Hello Sebastian,
I'm sorry you're hitting a lag issue when typing in Rise 360. I appreciate the troubleshooting you've already done and your sharing of your browser and system information. Everything is working fine on my end using the latest version of Google Chrome. Can you try switching to the latest Google Chrome version and see if the lag will still happen?
If the issue persists, please connect with us in a case so we can determine what's causing the problem. We'll reach out soon after we hear from you!

I am not experiencing the problem in Chrome. Very strange that it's browser-specific but not affecting other sites for me. I also cleared my cache and cookies in Safari but that didn't help. I also tried turning Private Relay off and that made no difference. Are there any known compatibility issues with any Safari settings?

This same thing is happening to me now and it's really impacting development. Any ideas for a solution? Thank you.
Hi everyone! I'm happy to let you know that we fixed the cause for the delay between typing and seeing your text on the screen. You should be able to enter text normally in Rise. Let us know if anything else comes up!

I haven't checked all of my courses (that would be time consuming). I did experience it in at least three I tried. Also, it seems to be better, not perfect but better, in Firefox. I'm working there for now. The lag is not as bad. I did submit a ticket to support and Jose said they're aware of an issue. I sent videos to show the issue too.
Thank you for chiming in, Leah! Is this problem happening in all your courses on your Rise 360 dashboard?
