Mail to Issues Using Button
I am working on creating a course and I want to use the interactive button to send an email to one of our facilitators. I have entered the email (its a gmail address) in the "send to" location. When I test the button, it shows that it cannot connect to mail server to send an email.
Any idea why this is happening? Would love to be able to use this feature!

I am having the same issues now in 2025. I try the "mailto" with open URL and the "send mail" button but it opens a general google page or nothing at all (for both Storyline and Rise). Previously, it would open a new email address but at some point it just stopped working (we can't pinpoint when).
Has there been any resolution yet?
What is the default mail client?
