Marker Margins
Is there a way to adjust the marker label margins for the text? The text is too close to the edges. When I look at the format shape, the settings are grayed out.

Hi, LaurenDuvall I'm having trouble accessing the Peak recording linked by BeccaLevan. Is there a more up-to-date version of this?

Hi, its been 7 years and all we have untill now, is the ability to change the marker size (finaly!). Please, leave the IA alone (it kills workers and the planet) and spend your time on real useful functionalities. The markers are bearly useless as its state. No padding, basic positonning for the popup, basic font management, basic icon style, space under the paragraph if we haven't a title… Thanks.
Hello GregoryFauchill! Thanks for listing out the customizations that would make working with markers more valuable! I can see how all of these would be useful. We aren't currently planning for adjustments with markers, but I've shared this with our Product Team to see where this could be prioritized. I'll make sure to update you in this discussion!

It worked! Did not need a hanging indent!

Hi Lauren and Becca, is there a way to increase the spacing above the heading text within the marker? I've followed the indentation tip which worked well. However I can't get my course approved to publish through internal QA checks unless there is an even spacing around all text, hence needing space above the heading.

Thanks for following up! I don't have an update on the status of this feature request, but I can share a workaround for editing marker margins:
Highlight the text in the marker, go to the Home tab, and in the Paragraph section, click on the expander to open up the window to fine-tune the Indentation and Spacing. Here's a Peek recording.

I'm in a moment of marker frustration and found my way here. I agree it is odd that text margins are not a feature for markers.
From my perspective, I'd never even use "markers" if pulse animation was implemented for other objects (or if the "glow" picture effect could animate).
I can't believe this isn't a thing yet! Just going through a work check and those margins are sitting so close to the edge?
Would really love to see marker text box formatting enabled please.
I would also love this feature to be added please!
