Hey Everyone - we just released Flashcards to Rise. Check out this quick video overview. (Recorded with Peek and posted to Articulate Review, naturally.)

Flashcards are an awesome click-and-reveal interaction. I'm excited to see the creative ways you use them!

Hi there,
Currently investigating using Rise to create an extensive flashcard library for my organization. However, some of our content would require many (100+) flashcards in the same stack. Is there a limit to the number of flashcards you can have in one block/stack? Also, does the Rise flashcard block feature have the ability to randomize the order of the cards?
Thanks,
Christina
Thanks, Christina! We always love hearing how folks are using Rise and the functionality that would benefit your learners.
Also, it looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email! No worries, this Peek video will show you how to remove it. :)

Thank you for creating the flashcard feature - I love it!
Your thoughts are noted as well Lisa.
Thanks for taking the time to share your need and use-case scenario.

Why does text on a flashcard lighten when you move your mouse over it?
Hi Jim! Mousing over a flashcard activates a hover effect for that card, including text and outline color changes. Please let me know if you're experiencing an issue with that feature, though.

Is there a way to move the positions of the flash cards? I don't see a way. I wanted to create a grid of 2 x 2 (2 cards on top and 2 on the bottom). By default, the cards create a grid of 3 in a row. Can that be changed?
Hi there, Garfield. Flashcards will reposition themselves based on the size and orientation of the screen used to view the course. You'll see a maximum of 3 cards per row. Some folks will create a 2-card grid and duplicate it to get the 2x2 effect you want!

So the only choices we have for the flashcards are text or image? No audio or video?
That's right, Yvonne! For a more customized flashcard interaction, I'd suggest designing it on a Storyline slide and embedding it using a Storyline Block.

Hi, I'm new to using Rise 360. Has an update been made to add text along with the image on a flashcard? Also, is there a way to change the line spacing on flashcards? Thank you!
Hi there, Mary! You can choose either text or an image for the front and back of the flashcard.
What kind of line spacing changes do you need to make? You can add line and paragraph breaks to the text.
