Next button flashes briefly even though hidden/disabled

I am using Storyline 360. I would like for the Next button on the Modern template playbar to be hidden or disabled until the user goes to the next slide. So, for example, they are viewing Sli...
That's right, Michelle. With Restricted Navigation, if the learner has already viewed a slide, the Next button will not be disabled when they revisit that slide.
In my sample file, I added a trigger to adjust Variable1 to True on the second slide. And yes, the default value of the variable was False.
