Note Tab is laggy

Hi everyone,

Has anyone else noticed that the Notes tab tends to be quite laggy? Whether you're typing, moving the cursor, or trying to navigate, it seems to respond very slowly. I'm experiencing a significant delay with almost every action, and it's making it difficult to use efficiently. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or is it just me? Would love to know if there are any fixes or workarounds!

Version 3.92.33225.0

    Hi,

I too experience the lagging since last update.

This is very combersome since I do copy all amended text, that I am using for accessability into notes, so I can easy adjust before adding the text required to the focus order.

I have done diagnostics on the Articulate App, and all is fine. Also, since all applications are handled by our IT service desk, I cannot remove and reinstall Articulate easily.

Is there anyone else having the problem since the activation of the AI functuality?

A screen recording is not much of use as well, since it will not be visible or show the lagging. Notes just reacts very, very slow.

      Hi IrisSchlabitz,

Since what you can do with your installation is limited, please open a case with our support team here to connect with a support engineer. They'll be able to help take a closer look at your installation by requesting logs to help diagnose what's causing the notes section to lag. We'll keep an eye out for your message so we can continue troubleshooting the behavior!

  • Hello Tian,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the Storyline Notes tab. I ran some tests on my end using the latest Storyline version, 3.92.33225.0, which is the same as what you have. Fortunately, I did not encounter laggy behavior, and everything seemed normal. I captured my tests in a quick Peek 360 recording with no audio.

If the issue persists and you're already working on your local drive, try running these steps to fix possible installation issues. We'd be glad to investigate further as needed. Please share a screen recording of what you see here or privately in a support case, where our Support Engineers will work with you one-on-one. We'll delete it when we're done investigating.
