Ownership of Content Used to Generate AI Courses and/or AI Tutor

I have been searching through the community to find an answer to this question and can't seem to find it, so my apologies if this has already been asked.

If our company uploads source content to either generate a course or to add to the AI tutor, does our content now belong to the Articulate LLM, or is it partitioned so that it is only sourced by our company when building future content, etc.?

    You raise an interesting point.

There are (if I recall correctly) legal rulings that LLM-generated content cannot be copyrighted. Hey, Articulate: if we use your AI coach or whatever, are our courses no longer subject to copyright, and freely usable by anyone without asking permission or paying any fee?

  • Thank you - this is what I have been looking for!!!

We don't intend to copyright anything AI generated - but, if we add our content to the LLM, we want to ensure no one else can use our content to develop from. (And CarlFink1  - great additional question!)

You're welcome! Pay it forward when you can. 😊

P.S. I'd appreciate it if you would click the "Mark As Solution" button that appears on my earlier reply (not  the one on other replies). Yes, selfishly, that ups the count of solutions on my Profile page. More importantly, it marks the issue as SOLVED, which might help others find the answer when they have a similar question.
