Preview Link Limits in Articulate Rise

I am using the preview link to share a LO we are pilotting. It will end up on our LMS when we are happy with it. I am using it with 240 concurrent users tomorrow. To me this is a lightweight share but is at the upper end. Can I get some assurances for my anxiety that it will work for 240 odd concurrent users. I don't see a reason why it wouldn't but I am stressing about it now.

  • Hi there, Tom!

The Rise 360 Share link is intended for small audiences and lightweight sharing.

We don't have a specific limit for what we consider a small audience, and there are no technical concerns when using the Share link with about 200 viewers. We simply recommend that you export your course for web or LMS so you have control over the hosting environment.

Are there any more specific details you can provide on this?  If you are the hosting environment for your Rise Preview Link (seeing you generate them for us as we connect into your tool), how many users clicking a preview link at close to the same time (directly from Rise) will cause your tool to have issues?  Certainly Articulate can handle more than 200 users. What is a better guideline to go by?  What is the upper-limit to use for passing out one of your Preview links? As a client...we should not give out the preview link to more than [you provide the number] people accessing that preview link at the same time?  Thank you!
