Problem with images
Hello SyntraDL,
I have experienced my transparency turning to black when re-saving a PNG file in an image viewing software called Irfanview. It may be that sometimes when a PNG with transparency is re-saved within some software that the transparency is lost. Perhaps this is what is happening with you.
If you can, I would recommend using Photoshop to edit the image and re-save as a PNG within Photoshop before inserting it into Articulate products. You may also wish to use the "Save for Web (Legacy)" setting when exporting from Photoshop.
Hi StefanOst-ce314,
I'm sorry to hear that you encountered this issue. Have you tried testing the behavior using a different transparent PNG? I tested using the attached transparent PNG, but I was unable to observe any issues after cropping it. The same goes for cropping an image with a white background. Would you mind testing using the attached image files so we can isolate the behavior?
If only your image files are affected, please feel free to open a case with our support team here to have our support engineers take a look at your courses. Kindly include the PNG files shown in your screenshots so we can test to see what's causing the unusual cropping behavior.

Hi,
I use Photoshop and Illustrator to create my PNG images.
I have downloaded the images mentioned above and am experiencing the same issue with the transparent image. The non-transparent image does not have this issue.
Additionally, all images I have created exhibit this problem. I have not changed my workflow; I have always exported my images as PNGs with transparency from Illustrator or Photoshop.
These are screenshots of the resultThese are the files I used:
