Publishing is taking FOREVER
Hi Lyndsie!
Sorry to hear that publishing speeds for your Storyline courses have been so long!
I would suggest closing down any other open programs and ensuring you are publishing to your local hard drive. Working off a network or shared drive may cause erratic behavior.
If that doesn't improve the issue, would you mind sharing one of your .story files for testing on our end? Feel free to upload a copy here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Hi Steven!
Thanks for the reply, my apologies at my delayed response. I just opened a support ticket. I'm hoping I can get some answers as this is still a major issue for me. :(

Hi Lyndsie!
You're welcome!
Great move on opening a support case! I that you've connected with my teammate, Chester. You're in excellent hands working with him, and we'll continue troubleshooting through your case to keep all information in one spot.

I am also having the same issue. I tried uploading a few video clips, and after a few hours and attempts, I gave up.

Hello mleana,
Thanks for reaching out! Just to clarify, are you having trouble uploading video clips to your Storyline course or publishing your content to Review and LMS? I do want to mention that the maximum file size for videos is 2GB each.
- Are you experiencing this with any other project files or just this one?
- Do you notice any change if you import your existing slides into a brand new .story file?
As a troubleshooting step, I recommend checking that you are working and publishing on your local hard drive. We recommend working locally to avoid some erratic behavior.
If you are still experiencing this behavior, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your .story file within a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
