The new microlearning feature adds a very large header space (cover page wrapper in CSS) that I'd like to remove. That is, there's a large gap between the title and the arrow and the actual microlearning quiz. It looks awkward and doesn't mesh with the idea of microlearning. Is there a way to remove this space in microlearning?

Please consider that the users we're designing lessons for typically want to achieve their learning with as little time and required action as possible. I'd imagine that's true for the bulk of Rise designers.From both a design and learning standpoint, having a massive header image that we can't remove is at odds with the whole point of the microlearning. Sure, it looks pretty, but it's adding useless padding and scroll for the UX.

I was placing the microlearning into another SCORM so it HAS to be html, it can't be another SCORM. I figured out how to edit the html to make the page load the second page rather than the cover page. I also turned off the navigation arrows that would redirect back to the cover page, as an additional option. Here's how I managed it: OPEN/LOAD TO SECOND BLOCK Publish to "Web" Extract in downloads open "index.html" in a browser tab navigate past the cover page to the second page/slide/block in the URL, copy the info from the # til the end and set aside for HREF data later will appear similar to this: "#/lessons/B3jT5DMWw9AkWSowxGvnjRzlY10cglw-" close browser tab open "index.html" in an editing tool find lines 73–75 which looks like this: function __loadEntry() {return loadModule(JSON.parse(document.getElementById('__ENTRY__').textContent))} replace the above with the following code: function __loadEntry() { loadModule(JSON.parse(document.getElementById('__ENTRY__').textContent)) var currentUrl = window.location.href; window.location.href = currentUrl + '[PASTE HREF HERE]';} paste your HREF from step three in between the ' ' in the code above for example, using the copied code in step 3 will appear like this: function __loadEntry() { loadModule(JSON.parse(document.getElementById('__ENTRY__').textContent)) var currentUrl = window.location.href; window.location.href = currentUrl + '#/lessons/B3jT5DMWw9AkWSowxGvnjRzlY10cglw-';} save, close, test by opening index.html in browser again NAVIGATION BUTTON REMOVAL (OPTIONAL) If you are only using one block and want to remove the navigation buttons, follow these steps: open folder "lib" then "rise" there will be two .css files, open the larger one in an editing tool search for ".lesson-one-page-slides__controls" change "display: flex;" to "display: none;" save, close, test by opening index.html in browser; it should open to the second block (not the cover page), and there should be no extraneous navigation buttons, just your singular, beautiful, microlearning block, ready to go!

Hi All! Thanks for your feedback! Currently, you may enable the Hide Cover Page option when publishing to LMS, but we're tracking requests to add this option for web export (and publishing to Review 360) as well. We'll update this thread for any updates that can help! Have a lovely day!

I believe this is an important issue that is good to be solved. For example, I need to share interactive sample with potential client. So, I would like the client to hit directly to the interactive without the cover page. I do not need to publish to LMS or Web at this stage. Just sharing through Rise. Any ideas btw?

Hi Ahmed, We've added the option to remove the course cover page for LMS exports, and we're hoping to get feedback that this design works well! We're considering adding it for web exports as well. Since the Share link is not a long-term hosting solution, we won't consider this feature for Share link output.

Wow - over 3 years and dozens of developers looking for is an upgrade to the web publishing feature to have the same button to toggle off/on the microlearning cover page. Seems this would be even easier to implement then for LMS which has a much more complex structure then web output.

I was hoping to create labeled graphic interactions and insert them as web objects into another content developer tool (yes - iSpring Suite) but also perhaps SL in the future. Should not need to edit code as was graciously suggested a year or so ago in this thread.

The slowness of Articulate innovation is one of the reasons we switched our EL development to iSpring Suite back in 2013 (the Articulate '09 to '13 transition was unworkable for us) but we are now sticking our 'toe' back into Articulate products (iSpring Suite seems to have lost their way as well in the past few years). I checked your product roadmap site and this does not appear there. 😟

This is causing some headaches for me at the moment with Microlearning / having to switch to a scorm format in our LMS when we want to use a web output. Very limiting and frustrating. Any updates on this? I can't see it on the feature map, thank you!

Has anybody succeeded in creating a zip that will play in Thinkific without a start page? I tried zipping up Scormcontent from an LMS publish - I loaded into Thinkific, but when I try to play it I'm not getting past a "content Loading' message

  As for your course not loading in your LMS, if your course is getting stuck during launch, I'd recommend testing in SCORM Cloud to compare the behavior. This could be either isolated to your LMS or course-related. If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, please open a case with our support team here so we can investigate what's happening.

PLEASE!!! Remove the cover page or give us the option to remove it!!! We also use a SharePoint site and are not publishing to LMS. This cover page is at the very least a distraction. Microlearning is billed as something quick - a quick hit if you will - this isn't quick. I've got to del with a cover page in the middle of a module. C'mon Articulate - get it together!!!
