Remove course cover page?
Is there a way to remove the cover page altogether? I'm referring to the first page you see with the Start Course button, Details link, and content areas listed below. When my learner clicks to view the course, I want it to open directly to the first lesson.

You can edit the Label set and change "START COURSE" to something more suitable.

Hi Hafsa Hamid,
See this link for instructions about how to remove / hide the course cover page if publishing for LMS: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise-360/new-in-rise-360-hide-cover-page

Hi Karl, but it doesn't actualy remove it, but rather makes the image smaller. I want to be able to remove it completely. Mayeb it is different with the microlearning feature, but there is no way to simply remove the image. Mhy group wants me to remove all scrolling within our LMS. I will have to add an insane number of pages to the course in the LMS if I have to have an image each time as even the smaller size takes up valuable space.

Is this available yet? When input into Canvas, there is scrollinng that my team woudl like to be rid of. The only way to accomplish that is to create small chunks of material at a time but if I can't remove the cover image (microlearning or module) than it doesn't matter.

Hi Sara,
Yes, it's been available for about 3 months.
See the announcement and details about this feature just 5 or 6 posts above yours.

Thank you for giving us the "Hide Cover Page" option!
In the future, might it be possible to give control over the padding in the title, maybe even go negative padding? At the moment the title contains so much spacing that it is too different to interweave Rise sections into our native LMS. An example comparison is attached. We were hoping that a course might consist of a native page, then a Rise page, then a native page, and on and on. With such a difference, and the moments it takes to load, we feel that users might think the course errored - and those with enlarged views (150%) may not even be able to see that there is content below.
Minimal font control would be appreciated as well.- LeaSAgatoStaff
Hi Cindy,
Thanks for letting us know how we can improve Rise! I've documented your requests, and I'll be sure to update you here if we make changes that will help!

I would also like it to be removed when use 'Share' link, currently we use the work around where you click to start viewing the content and then copy that link, however its not ideal.
We are using the share link on our Support Portal as Articles so dont need a cover page.

Any way to do this when you export via web not LMS?
- LeaSAgatoStaff
Hi, Dylan! Currently, the Hide Cover Page is only available when you're exporting your course for LMS. We're tracking requests to have the option available for web exports as well, so I've added your voice. We'll share it here if this becomes available in the future. You're in the right place!

Any update on this from 2 years ago? I am using Rise 360 to create "How to guides" and by just linking the URL so the cover page is not a great user experience as it's effectively not a course so "start course" is confusing. Any work around? Please!!!??
Good news, everyone! We've just released a new feature that allows you to turn off the cover page when you publish for LMS to improve compatibility, streamline training, and get learners into content faster. Give it a try, and let us know if you have any questions about it!
Note: You can't hide the cover page for training created from Next Big Idea Club content templates.- JodyPhillipsCommunity Member
Yeah, but there are issues... seems to mess up the Menu the floating menu with an image for sure, haven't bothered testing others...
