RESPONSIVE PLAYBACK

Hi,

Is there a way to set my choice to use "landscape and portrait" from the moment I open a new storyline file and not have to set it every time? Is there a way to have this setting as the default?  It would be convenient for me if it was always set in "landscape and portrait" and not have to set it myself when I have new files.Or can it be stored in a player? It seems to me not. Thank you

This is the default setting, and it will appear every time you start a new project. For example, if you change the setting for Phones to Landscape Only, it will only retain this change throughout the current project. Once you start a new project, the setting will reset to the default.

My default setting instead unfortunately is PORTRAIT. Where do you think this default setting could be changed?

Go to the Player Properties, click on the Current Player, and hover over 'Open.' How many player instances do you see there? It's most likely that you're using a customized Storyline player. If so, switch to the built-in 'Storyline Player,' click OK confirm changes and close the Player Properties. Then open another or start a new Storyline project. Finally, check the Responsive Playback settings.

If this doesn’t help, adjust the Responsive Playback settings to your preferred configuration for all future projects. Go to Player Properties > Current Player > Save As, and give it a meaningful name. Click 'OK' to confirm the changes and close the Player settings. Then, open another file and check the Responsive Playback settings.
