Review Quiz Issues

Hello,

I hope this is the place I can some support.  I have inherited a course and it has 'review quiz' (incorrect answers) only on it.  This is fine, but how do I edit those red banners that appear at the bottom?  I need to change the font and move the box.

I've looked everywhere to find them to edit but can't see them.  What am I missing?

Please help.

  • Rebbex26 : Even when using a Review layer, the Correct and Incorrect banners will show. However, any object on the Review will appear on top. So if you put a rectangle that matches your background color at the bottom of the Review layer, that would cover the banners.

By the way, the banners can be hidden with JavaScript. Nedim posted the script last year. (Sorry, I only have the screenshot, not a link to the discussion.)

Here's a closer view of the script:

  • Hello Rebbex26,

    Happy to help!

You can't change the position or the font used by the correct/incorrect banners. You can only change the color of the banners through the course's design theme. These two options in the theme control the colors:

One workaround is to create your own "Review" layer, which gives you full control over what appears when a quiz is reviewed. Here's how:

    1. Create a custom review layer for your quiz by entering text in this section of your question slide's form view.
    2. Customize the appearance of the generated "Review" layer.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you! I will have a go at this workaround.
