Right to left language In Rise
Hi
I am developing courses in Arabic Language. I just started using Articulate 360. I tried to add content using Rise. I could add Arabic text, but I faced many issues.
- Numbering and bullet list come left the text. As Arabic is a right-to-left language, it should be right.
- Text alignment also is left to right
- Navigation Bar is left
- No Arabic fonts available, I could only use the default one.
Could anyone help me solve the problem?
Regards
Sheikh Maawiya
I would if I could Dominik. The ETA is still in flux, and Articulate 360 subscribers will get the update as soon as it's released. Stay tuned!
No update on an ETA yet, Alex, but we'll let you know as soon as we can about this feature.

We are also waiting for RTL support desperately.
An update on ETA would be highly appreciated.
Thanks for checking in! As soon as we have an ETA on this, we'll share it here.
Hey, Hofit. Thanks for checking in!
We've still got our eye on this, and we'll definitely let you know as soon as we have an update to share regarding RTL support in Rise. You'll be notified immediately since you're now subscribed to this discussion!
Hi Luis,
We'll keep you posted here on the RTL support in Rise, as I don't have an ETA to share yet.
Welcome, Evgenia!
No ETA as of yet, but I promise we'll keep everyone in this discussion posted on any new information. Here's an inside look at how we manage Feature Requests! 😊

You've been saying this for 2 years. Very disappointing...

Hi all, does any one have an Arabic Rise example they could share with me? Happy to sign an NDA if needed? A large client wants to look at an example before going ahead and I need ANYTHING to show them - pretty please? Thanks!

Hello.
We have recently completed a long, security awareness course in Arabic.
The course is called BSAFE. We had to do some tweaks for the CSS.
You can find the course here: training.dss.un.org
Good luck.

THANKS so much - enrolling now - Did you have to a lot to the css as mentioned above? - Life saver :)
Hi Tim,
We know how important this feature is to you and other folks here in this discussion, and we're listening to all your feedback. This feature is still on the table, but it's not on our immediate roadmap. We'll share your thoughts with the right folks and let you know if our plans change.
- Hi everyone,
I want to clarify our plans for Right-to-Left support in Rise 360. This is a feature we may include in a future update, but currently we're investing in features that have the broadest impact on the majority of customers. If we do decide to add this feature, we promise to let you know. I hope this allows you to make informed decisions as you move forward with course development.- DorrienVenab957Community Member
Hi Alyssa, thanks for the feedback. Considering that Arabic is the 5th most spoken language in the world, one would consider that it is kind of important to have this type of support. There understandably would not be a significant customer base for RTL languages if those customers can't actually make use of the tool. Considering this functionality is available in Storyline, it would be helpful for Articulate to have this consistency across their products. There are no forthcoming features listed on the What's New, Whats Next page for Rise (or any other tool), or a roadmap to look at, so one doesn't really know what the more relevant/impactful features are, that are being developed.

How do you decided what features would impact the majority if customers? Do you send out surveys, or have any other polling system that we can vote for most urgently needed features?
Is there a way for the customers to actively influence these decisions?
