RISE - LESSON ONE CONTAINS OUR ACCESSBILITY & NAVIGATION GUIDES.

RISE - LESSON ONE CONTAINS OUR ACCESSBILITY & NAVIGATION GUIDES. IT IS COMMON FOR STAFF TO NOT COMPLETE THIS LESSON BUT THE LMS PREVENTS THE COMPLETED STATUS BECAUSE THE COMPLETION PROGRESS INDICATOR IS NOT FILLED IN AS COMPLETED. IS THERE A WAY TO TURN THIS OFF IN THE RISE E

    Hi Jose,

Thank you; however, we cannot determine the specific section in the tracking % that the lms can by-pass in the completion record. CAN ARTICULATE Consider making a completion/tracker indicator that allows the author to turn off the Accessibility/Navigation block that we use at our agency. Staff by-pass this lesson if they do not use assistive technology but in doing so they are not receiving the completed status.

MANY organizations are focusing on accessible eLearnings but currently there is not a way for the authors or those who upload the SCORM to an LMS to tell Rise or the LMS to by-pass the accessibility/navigation lesson that we use for all of our eLearnings, whether Rise or Storyline.

This would be a BIG help to all Articulate users and the lms they use at their org.

      Hi KariKillian

I appreciate you sharing your voice regarding what updates you'd like to see within Rise and Storyline 360 and how this would impact your workflow. I've gone ahead and shared your insight with our product team. We'll be sure to share any news or updates in this thread so that all are in the loop!

Have a wonderful start to your day!

  • Hi KariKillian,

    Happy to help!

There isn't a way to remove specific lessons from a course's completion requirement. Here are a few workarounds you can try instead:

    • Change the percentage calculation of the course to what the percentage would be if learners skipped over the first lesson in the course.
    • Use a different completion requirement, such as tracking course completion using a course or with an embedded Storyline 360 block.

    Hope this helps!
