Rise Fill-in-the-blank gives answer
Hello,
I'm not sure what I'm missing here, but when a student fills in the blank on my module and gets the answer right or wrong, it provides the answer. So, it defeats the purpose of "trying again." Is it supposed to do this? I don't see a setting to change it. See my image. Can't it just say "try again" and not provide the answer?
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360, adding the new features below:
- Knowledge check blocks can be added directly to question banks, have their content width and answer colors modified, be required for training progress, hide the correct answer if answered incorrectly, and have a set number of retries.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update!

Thank you Pamela for raising this.
Hi, Crystal
Have an idea on the Fill in the blank question type, by adding the questions in Graded quiz there is an option to hide the correct/incorrect responses.
But I wish to use this same setting by using Fill in the blank question type in Knowledge check lesson. Can you please navigate me, a bit as early as possible?
Hey there! For knowledge check blocks, learners will see the correct answers and any feedback you choose to give after they submit their answers. That being said, I've taken your question as a feature request. I'll let you know if we make any changes that help.

Okay, now I know! Then I guess I was wondering why there is an option to "try again." When it's pointless because at that point the student knows the answer! :)

Yes, it is indeed pointless.
Hi there, Pamela. For knowledge check blocks, learners will see the correct answers and any feedback you choose to give after they submit their answers. In graded quizzes, however, you can choose not to reveal correct answers.

Hi Pamela,
What your are describing is how Rise works. You are not missing anything as there are unfortunately no settings to change this.
