Rise quiz questions disappear if you tab backwards (SHIFT+TAB) using a keyboard

Just in case anybody else comes across this issue, a case has been logged with Articulate: Case Number: 03559329

My experience is that when navigating through quiz questions using your keyboard, if you choose to tab backwards through a question, the quiz question will disappear and remain missing until you tab forward into the question again.

  • Hi Sam,

Thanks so much for reaching out to the community to share your findings. So sorry to hear you ran into this issue within your Rise 360 Course.

You're in great hands with my colleague Dexter. I see that he's currently troubleshooting this issue and determining next steps.

We'll continue the conversation over in your support case. Hope that you have a great day!

Hi LucianaPiazza I didn't ever receive an update on case number #03559329. According to my last correspondence in February 2023, I was communicating with Dexter Sadang. Are you able to follow up and find out what happened to this case.

        Hello Sam,

Thanks for following up with us and for sharing the case number. I looked it up and saw that Dexter confirmed a bug related to the issue you reported regarding tabbing backward. The workaround is pressing the tab key again, as you recommended.

If you haven’t received this email from Dexter, kindly check your Spam folder. It’s been several months since then, so it may have been deleted from your Spam folder. You may need to check with your IT department to be sure that emails from us aren’t blocked by adding the @articulate.com domain to an approved senders list or a company allowlist.

Our product team is aware of the issue. Understanding how many people are experiencing this problem and how often they encounter it helps us prioritize our development resources. Your support case is still open, so please feel free to email Dexter if you have additional questions regarding the bug.

      Hi Sam and Luciana!

My Dev and QA team just ran across this issue as well. Any updates or recommendations for this accessibility issue?

        Hello Cassidy,

We have received the support case you opened. Thank you! One of our Customer Support Engineers will email you shortly.

Unfortunately, you're experiencing a known bug, and I've added you to our bug report so we can send notifications if there are any updates that might help. In the meantime, please let us know if pressing the tab key again re-displays the question for you and whether that will suffice as a workaround for now.
