Well it happened again and I ensured all the names had no characters/symbols and it continue to throw an error. Turned out when I shortened the name it worked.

Hello! I'm running across the same "NCName" error message when trying to load Storyline zip file to LMS. Just to be clear ... I just need to shorten the course name in the Title field when publishing? Do I need to shorten the Title in the Player section? Thanks for any help/suggestions!

Hello. Are you working from your hard drive? Each folder that the training is buried in counts as characters. I might use c:/training/xyz.zip. Be sure there are no spaces in the title of the zip file and no characters. Other than that, it should work. I would ensure the same rules apply to the player except you can have spaces. It is best to keep the player's name short and succinct.
