Saved State in Storyline when embedded in Rise

Hello community! I am currently working on a project where I have a Storyline block embedded into a Rise course. The Storyline block is the main block that is being scored, so the project sponsor would like learners' answers in that Storyline block to remain as is if the learner exits the training and comes back to it later. They want the learners to be able to review their answers but not update any answers. Last year, we published the Storyline block separate from the Rise course and included a link to the Storyline block for this reason. This year, they do not want the link - they want it embedded in Rise. Is there a way to save the Storyline state once the learner is done with that portion so that if the learner comes back to the course to review, it is basically in View Only mode?
