Scroll box text not showing up in Chrome

We've started having issues with text that sits within a scroll box is not showing up. It's only happening within Chrome (works fine in Edge and other browsers).

It's sporadic and works for some users who have the most up to date version of Chrome and the latest Windows updates, but not for other users who have the same version of Chrome and same version of Windows.

We've experimented with changing the entrance animation from fade, wipe, etc. This seems to affect it sometimes... but it's still inconsistent.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I also have this issue. I entered text in a scrolling box along with a hotspot. It displays correctly in preview & Review 360. But when published it displays the scroll box with no text in Chrome. I made several adjustments and republished a bunch of times with no results.

I have not yet tried creating a whole new SL file or trying it in Edge but will.

      Hi andywhitman,

If you need help making the interaction work, feel free to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case. I'm happy to check why the text isn't displaying as expected and we'll delete it when we're done testing!

  • Hello key-learning,

Sorry to hear that you ran into this snag. I'm happy to investigate the behavior.

I'd like to ask a few questions to help clarify your experience.

Installing available updates is generally good practice since those come with possible bug fixes and performance improvements for the software. If you can consistently replicate the behavior in other environments after installing the latest updates for your browsers and OS, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case for testing. We'll delete it when we're done!
