Set a Generic Author in Rise

New to using Rise and stretching my knowledge base...

We have a Rise course that we are developing as a collaboration in our team. Currently we have the "author" hidden, but we are wondering if we can set a "generic" author (our group name) in that field, since it's group effort and not one for which we want to assign single authorship.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

  • Hello JHauglie,

Thanks for sharing this, and welcome to Rise! That’s a great question, and it’s a situation a lot of collaborative teams run into.

At the moment, Rise doesn’t offer a way to set a custom or generic author name. The author field is tied to an individual Articulate account, so it can either display that person’s name or be hidden entirely. I can understand why neither option feels ideal when a course is truly a team effort.

I’ve shared your suggestion with our product team so they can consider adding more flexibility around author attribution in Rise, especially for collaborative workflows like yours.
