Setting up CTRL+V/Paste as "Paste in Place" by default.
At what point is Articulate going to prioritize implementing the Paste in Place feature to be the default when using CTRL + C/V for elements (image, text, hotspot, etc) between slides within Storyline?
This appears to be a comment that is posted every couple of months/years but it's still an irritating thing within Storyline.
There's no real need for it to be offset by 8 or so pixels upon pasting to a new slide. No designer would want the same element on a different slide suddenly in just a slightly different place.
All this does is add an additional workaround for each element pasted.
Prior commentors have said that CTRL + SHIFT + V does this, but it has never worked in my experience.
If there is a different hotkey or setting I need to turn on to achieve this, please let me know. ... Otherwise, Articulate could really just go into that code and change one single line of it so it stops trying to add 8 pixels in the X,Y axis when pasting..

You can't change the default (well, you can if you modify the grid settings). CTRL+SHIFT+D is paste in place
