Shrinking Story View?
Hello everyone,
Happy to share that we've just released a new update for Storyline 360!
In Build 3.106.35838.0 we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed is:
- Slide thumbnails disappeared in Story View when the zoom level was set below 30%.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Happens to me all the time. not sure what you mean by create a new scene. I have numerous scenes which all shrink. delete them all?

No need to delete any of your existing work. The idea is to create a sacrificial scene to wake the Story View up.
So, "Right-click" in the empty space when in Story View and select 'New Scene'. The action of creating this scene "snaps" the story view back into the correct format. You can then just delete the newly created scene. Annoying and bizarre, but seems to work until they fix it 😅Hi,
thanks so much for explaining this I was a little confused. Fingers crossed it works yesterday was free for all with Story view!
You're welcome - I only found this thread because I was searching for a fix myself after wrestling with Story View all week! It was really breaking my creative flow 😅
