Slider doesn't work with touch gestures
I added a slider control and it works with mouse drag to move the thumb along the track, but not with dragging with a finger. Is it a known issue?

Which version of Storyline are you using, it should work for all versions, but may be HTML5 issue.
Hi Daniel,
I'd also want to know a bit more about the device(s) you're testing on. If you can let us know what version of Storyline you're using I can also get you a list of supported devices.
Thanks!

Thanks for the prompt response. I use Storyline 360. I published and loaded it on a phone today to test further and it is working. So, it is specific to my laptop (Lenovo Carbon) with a touchscreen that I use to do development. Interesting is, other gestures such as for drag-drop, zoom, rotate, etc. are working. I'll take a look further and I agree this is not the Storyline issue.
Thanks, Daniel and please feel free to keep us posted! I'm curious to know more about how this works on your Lenovo touchscreen.

Hi,
I'm experiencing the same issue despite just updating now. I can't move it when testing it on my Lenovo Yoga laptop or on a separate iiYama touchscreen connected to a separate windows 10 PC.
Could you share a progress report on this as I'm up against the clock for a project?
Many thanks,
Dominic

I don’t believe that windows touchscreens work only tablets

Hi Domnick,
Touchscreen gestures are supported on mobile devices and tablets, as noted here.
Let us know if you need anything else!

Hi,
I have the same issue on a touchscreen lenovo (not on ipad or android phone)
This bug is only for a slider not for other components (drag and drop works fine for example)
It seems to be a bug in storyline with touch overlay on win 10?
Thanks for your help
Hi Alexis,
We only support the touchscreen gestures on mobile or tablet devices. So other gestures or touch actions may work on your Lenovo with Windows 10, but it's not something that we can offer support on.
If you'd like to see us add more support for those type of devices, we're always curious to hear about your needs here in ELH or send along a feature request!

Hi,
I'm experiencing the same slider dragging issue. Slider activity doesn’t seem to work for Android.
I have tested it on Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with Chrome, OS Android 9 and we cannot drag the button as well but NEXUS android tab ,OS 6, chrome browser (80.0.3) working fine.
I use Storyline 3(Build 3.8.20838.0)

Hello Mahesh!
I'm happy to help! Would you mind providing a few more details?
Are you publishing the course to an LMS or Review 360 and then opening it in Chrome? We have logged a bug for using sliders in Review 360 and viewing the course on a mobile device. We've noticed the slider doesn't move in that environment.
Would you mind sharing a screen recording of what is happening on your end?
