Slow, Unresponsive, lag
Anyone else experience Rise360 being slow and unresponsive in the last 24 hours? Editing is painful since everything is slow and lagging?
Multiple browsers, Multiple networks, Multiple devices used. Cache cleared and system restarted multiple times.
I've submitted a ticket but wanted to see if there are others having issues.
Hi Everyone!
I’m happy to share that we just released a new update for Rise 360!
This update fixes the issue that was causing slowdowns while authoring course content. There’s nothing to install for web-based apps. New features and fixes are immediately available!
If you’re still experiencing slowdowns, first please ensure any browser plugins have been disabled. Also, when working with large scale courses, some slowdowns are expected. To remedy that, we suggest breaking larger courses down into smaller pieces.
If you have questions about this update, or the issue you reported, please connect with our team through a support case.
Thank you!

It is still not possible for me to work in rise... it takes forever to open a lesson, and changing content as well.
Hello DB15,
I appreciate you sharing an update with us! I have shared your insight with our colleague Ian within your support case. We'll continue the conversation over in your case.
Have a great start to your week!

Rise is almost impossible to work with today, slow, and unresponsive. It's the slowest I have ever experienced Rise with no changes at my end.
Constantly getting the above.

I have been experiencing a lag for about 2 weeks. At the end of last week and today, RISE is almost unusable. The slowness is unacceptable; no excuse or platitude of "I'm sorry" will complete my project on time. Believe it ot not, clients don't really care if Articulate is sorry! Furious!
Does it help to remove the AI Assistant?

Hey Juli,
Although Rise is acting a "little bit" better today than last week there is definitely still a lag for me. I don't have the AI assistant and the issues continue to persist.- JulieStelter1Community Member
Thanks for the answer to the AI Assistant question. [sigh]

My team has also been experiencing extreme lag working in Rise for 2+ months now. We've been working with various members of the support team in trouble tickets over these past few months but haven't seen any resolution.
During this time, many of our developers have resorted to using other text editors, like Google Docs, to write the content, because there's so much delay with typing each character in Rise. This has greatly impacted our workflow, and it's not sustainable during our busiest season of the year.
We've run into many different issues, including:
- Courses reloading or crashing with an error message while editing a block.
- Extended load times on courses or when adding a template block.
- Inability to duplicate courses (they get stuck in the copying phase).
Our team has had accounts with Rise since 2018, and have never run into issues this detrimental to our workflow until only this year. I suspect some of the recently added AI features may be contributing to the numerous issues that are happening. My team has opted out of the AI features and is still experiencing them, though, so it may have to do with changes to Rise's infrastructure to accommodate those features.
Hi MichelleRakar!
So sorry to hear you've also been affected by slowdowns in Rise 360!
Our Rise engineers are currently working on a fix to address this behavior. I've included your voice in our incident tracker, so we can notify you as soon as we have updates to share!
Hi Everyone!
I understand you are facing setbacks and lag when accessing Rise 360!
Thank you for highlighting the issue, and sharing your feedback in this discussion. I've notified our Rise 360 development team, who is currently looking into possible causes of this behavior. Our goal is never to leave our authors stuck in their development.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!

Is there any update from the development team? Rise was pretty much unusable today.
Hi DuaneReimer,
I'm sorry to hear about this setback with authoring in Rise. I appreciate you checking in. We do not have any updates to share at this time. We'll keep folks in the loop within this thread on any updates from our development team. Thank you for your patience.

Rise has been almost impossible to work with today, slow, unresponsive.

Hey StevenBenassi,
I appreciate you responding to others in this feed. Ticket or no ticket, please be aware that these issues are real even if your team is operating with no issue. I know tickets are always met with this isn't our issue but an issue on your end... That is not the case for this issue. Whether it is your servers that are being overloaded, the introduction of localization, or AI or a combo.... There is an issue with the product being slow or unresponsive or kicking you out (logging out in some cases).Hi DuaneReimer!
Thanks for following up and sharing the additional feedback!
I see that my teammate Mick is helping you through your support case. We can continue the conversation there!

Same - it's been extremely slow and today, as others have mentioned, any time I use an interactive element it crashes. Is there an existing ticket to reference?
Hi MelissaMontana-!
Sorry to hear Rise 360 has been slow on your end as well!
I noticed that you've opened a support case, that's been received by our support engineers. You're in excellent hands troubleshooting with them, and they should be following up with you via e-mail, shortly!

We have been experiencing lag and slowness for a while now, but it is much worse this week. We are unable to proceed with development. I have "put up" with the issues but finally submitted a ticket today. If you have been experiencing performance issues, I suggest submitting a ticket so that Articulate is aware of the scope of the issue. Hopefully that will create a sense of urgency.
Hi LesaMoore-b1f22!
Sorry to hear these slowdowns in Rise 360 have been hindering your development!
Great move on opening a support case! I see that my teammate Phil just received your case. He should be connecting with you via e-mail, shortly!

It would also appear that you have little to no interest in responding to tickets either after the initial acknowledgement and pointing at everything else but your side of things. On a very small course creating any sort of interactive element (accordion, process block etc.) results in an almost immediate 'Something went wrong' and a need to refresh. I'm entering half a dozen words at a time then a problem arises...
