Storyline 3 stuck says initializing commands

Sorry to hear you're getting stuck opening Storyline 3! First, try doing a complete repair and see if that helps you run the software correctly.

I'm having the same problem. Running Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1903. I noticed the repair instructions are form 2017. 

Repairing it will require IT involvement and a download time of about 60 min.  That's resource consuming. Before I go that route is there anything else i can try?

Sorry to hear you're running into this as well! Unfortunately, if you're running into erratic behavior like Storyline getting stuck during initialization, a repair usually does the trick.

Right click on Storyline and select Run as Administrator.

This happens when you have a windows update for some reason.

I had an Windows update yesterday to 20H2, and now Storyline 3 is having this same behavior. When I get the Install file and Run as Administrator, it tells me that Articulate Storyline has already been installed, and another with "A newer version on Articulate Storyline is already installed", with a Finish button. No other prompts.

Update, I followed the steps from the link below and got everything working again.
