Storyline 360 won't restore when minimized
I've found that when I minimize Storyline 360, I often can't restore it again. I'm using a copy on my work computer, and I also have a license at home, and they both exhibit the same issue.
Thank for your help.

Hi everyone,
I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Build 3.76.30446.0, we've included important fixes and new features.
One of the bugs we've fixed is:
- Storyline 360 could freeze when minimized.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!

Hi Mark,
The same goes for me. If I minimize the other open windows and sometimes have to close apps, I can get Storyline to restore. It really is annoying.

Yes, this is a real problem. I'm working to a tight deadline and Storyline frequently gets stuck on the task bar. Clicking the icon shows any window/s of the App, hovering over the minimised image shows the window large, but clicking on it only causes a collapse back of the large window to it's minimised state. Very frustrating! The only solution then is to quit and restart.

This is indeed an issue. Having the same issue with Storyline360. It happens ( not always ) when i have multiple tools open ( Photoshop,Illustrator ) thus tending to think its memory related. I do have plenty of Ram on my Windows10 computer, but having some bigger programmes open in combination with Storyline...this happens.

Just to chime in - this happens to me regularly as well. It happens whether I have lots of windows open or just a few and happens on multiple different machines. I've even seen it when a trainer was delivering Storyline training to a class.
It has persisted from version to version for as long as I can remember. Alt-tabbing from Storyline to another program and back again is a risky business.
This has happened as far back as Storyline 2 - Except in Storyline 2 you could right click on the window in the task bar and "Restore".
This doesn't work for Storyline 360, I've been forced to close it on several occasions.

I have also experienced this issue for many months of using storyline 3 - but it's gotten noticeable worse in the recent weeks (or maybe just because I haven't used it in a while).
Thanks.

Hello, I've had the same issue! It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough to be annoying. Sometimes, like now (which is how I found this thread) I can't get it to open no matter what. Occasionally multiple attempts at Alt+Tab get it open, but not today. Same thing as the others - no error messages, just the Windows error sound.

Hi Jennifer,
I've found that sometimes minimizing the windows of all other applications running on my PC can help.
There certainly needs to be a resolution though.

I run into this occasionally, usually after the PC has been locked (Ctrl + Alt + Del). I found it's more likely to happen when at least 2 instances of Storyline are open. Alt + Tab does not work (all other open NON-Articulate applications restore just fine); neither does hovering over the icon on the taskbar and clicking directly on the pop-up. At that point, it's either shut everything else down, or shut down Articulate, potentially losing whatever changes have been made but not yet saved.
In my 30+ years, I have NEVER encountered this type of behavior with any other open and running application, through both several generations of the Macintosh OS, and Microsoft Windows 3.1 through Windows 10, inclusive.

Hi all,
I've encountered this issue over the past few weeks for the first time in Storyline 3 and it has been driving me mad. I've lost a lot of time closing down and starting up, trying all sorts to work the problem out and find a solution.
This morning I tried something that seems to work every time.
Place the mouse cursor over the Storyline icon on the toolbar and wait for the thumbnail to appear above. Right click on the thumbnail and then click Maximise.
I hope this works for other people because this has caused me a lot of trouble and I'm working on a big project at the moment where I don't have time to lose!

Has there been any updates to this problem? I am also experiencing this issue on different devices. I have the most up to date version of Storyline. I find myself having to save the project each time I need to access any other file/program/etc on my computer (which is frequent), since it won't open back up from being minimized on such a consistent basis.
