Storyline: Is there a way to prevent a student from revisiting the same branch of an activity?
Quick Storyline question.
I haven't started building this activity yet, but I'm planning one that would have three different branches, each with slight variations in content. Students could complete any of the three branches to complete the activity. I'm also planning to have Storyline randomly select which branch of the activity the student has to complete.
My question is: Is there an easy way to ensure the student doesn't get the same branch again if they decide to do the activity a second (or third) time?
For example, let's say the activity randomly selects "Branch 2" the first time around. The student completes all of the items in Branch 2, thereby completing the activity. The next day, they decide to do the activity again. Is there a way to prevent Storyline from selecting Branch 2 again?
Thanks in advance for your ideas and feedback!

This scenario would rely heavily on variables. While it’s easy to prevent a student from repeating an activity they completed the previous day, clicking the Restart button when relaunching the course will reset all variables to their default values — effectively starting the activity from the beginning.
