Trial version upload course
Hello,
I signed up for Rise 7 days ago because I wanted to see how it works for me as I am new to the business. I have created a small course and am trying to upload it to the Talent LMS platform to understand the whole process and see how everything connects. However, when I attempt to upload the file (published as SCORM 2004), I keep receiving the message, "File upload failed."
I am wondering if this issue is due to my trial subscription or if there is another problem. By the way, I really like Rise; itβs easy for me to get started, but I do find it a bit expensive at the beginning.
Thank you for your help!

Thank you for your quick response! π
The issue I encountered was related to SCORM 2004; it only worked with SCORM 1.2 and other formats. After I switched to SCORM 1.2 or xAPI, the system started functioning properly.
However, I now have another challenge since I'm new to this field. I am facing difficulties with the quiz results. When exporting a complete course, learners cannot see the results of two quizzes as required for passing. π
I am currently looking for options to resolve this, but this is a topic for another discussion. π

Thank you for your fast response.π
The problem was That Talent LMA was not supporting SCORM 2004, only SCORM 1.2. When I changed, all was fine.π
Hi DejanM,
Welcome to Articulate 360!
The trial version can publish fully working content without any LMS restrictions. This means something else is causing the "File upload failed" error in your LMS. You can try uploading the same file to another platform like SCORM Cloud to verify if the behavior is specific to Talent LMS. You'll also want to ensure you're uploading the zipped file of your course, not the unzipped folder.
If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, please share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can test the behavior.

Dejan, I'm not familiar with Talent LMS, but during our trial I had no issues uploading files into the solution we're using (ADP).
I upload the training packages (.zip file) without unzipping. I believe I also used SCORM 2004.
The course worked as expected in ADP.
