Turn off marker pulse animation in Rise
I love the marker feature in Rise, but I would like to turn off the pulse animation, like you can in Storyline. I can't find where to do it. Is it possible in Rise?
Thanks.

I have had a course fail on accessibility review due to the pulsing animations that cannot be paused or stopped by the user (or turned off in the build). Adding my request to the others
Hi Jimmy!
Thanks for the feedback! It sounds like having the option to remove the pulsing animation from Labeled Graphic Markers would greatly benefit you and your team!
I've included you in the feature report and will update this discussion as soon as we have news to share. If you'd like to stay up to date, please bookmark our Feature Roadmap.

Perhaps a well-timed social media posting may help bring this to the company's attention.

Jimmy,
Rise users can stop the pulse animations on Labeled Graphic Markers by clicking on them (or by tabbing to them and pressing Enter). Based on my reading of the WCAG guidelines, these animations are in conformance with the guidelines since the user can disable them. I am not an expert on this topic, though, so I could be wrong.
Of course, you are right in saying that there should be an option for the developer to disable the pulse animations, because it would be tedious for a user to stop each one individually.

Is there any update on an option to remove the pulsing animation? I'm also having issues with it distracting from the text/details in an image
Hi Lucy!
Thanks for checking in on this!
I don't have any updates to share at this time as our development team has been prioritizing other features. Not to worry! I've included you in the feature report and will update this discussion if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.
Have a great rest of your week!

Another person in this seven year long chain of requests, asking, nay, begging for this feature to be implemented for accessibility and readability.

Adding my vote too - it's good e-learning design to be as inclusive as possible. The option to switch on and off at the design stage is important.
