Unclear or Fast Paced Audio Clips. Has anyone found a workaround?

Hi Everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with Articulate 360 – Storyline files where certain sections have unclear or fast-paced audio, even though the script and settings are consistent throughout the Project. This is persisting even after exporting to MP4.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and found a workaround? Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thank you!

  • Hi Sindhura,

Thanks for sharing additional information. We'll need to check the script you used to generate the text-to-speech audio so we can identify what caused the pace of the audio to change. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or privately by opening a support case for testing? We'll delete it when we're done!

  • Hello Sindhura

    Thanks for reaching out!

    • You mentioned this audio issue happens only in certain sections of your course. Is this audio created with Text-to-Speech or an imported MP3 audio file?
    • Do you notice any change if you import your slides into a new .story file while using our latest update of Storyline 360 (Update 98)?

As a first step, I recommend a repair of Storyline 360. Sometimes, a quick repair will fix some erratic behavior!

Please let us know if you're still encountering this issue with the audio sounding unclear or fast-paced after the repair. You can share a screen recording of this behavior along with your .story file in this discussion or privately in a support case so we can continue troubleshooting this with you!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

      Hi LucianaPiazza ,

This is created with Text-to-Speech. The change in audio is noticed during both Preview as well as when converted to Mp4.
