Video does not pause with the timeline in Storilne 360

Hello,
So, this is my problem:
Video does not pause with the timeline when I use the trigger: "When the timeline starts on this slide - pause timeline on this slide".
As a result, the timeline pauses, but the video continues to play.
The problem appeared after one of the recent updates.
If the problem is not fixed soon, I will have to revert to one of the previous versions of Storyline 360.
I hope you can fix this fast. It's very important for me.

Thanks for help.
MM

  • Hi MaciejMasior,

I have some exciting news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 92, we’ve included important fixes and new features.

One of the fixes we’ve included is:

Video content continued to play when the timeline was paused

To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Please let me know if you need additional help!

      Hi Maciej!

You're welcome! Thanks for your patience while we work through this issue.

Have a great rest of your week!

  • Hi Maciej!

Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!

I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360 versions 3.88, 3.89, and 3.90. I've linked this discussion to the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place. In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest:

    • Downgrading to version 3.87.32265.0 of Storyline 360 where this bug cannot be observed.

    • Delay the video so it does not appear at the start of the timeline.
    • Add an additional trigger to pause the video.

Thank you for your patience. Sorry if this has been slowing you down!
