Way to track knowledge check progress after upload to LMS?
Hi elianameligas! Great question!
If learners must answer each question correctly before moving on, the LMS will only ever see the final passing result. That’s why everyone shows 100%. The system is recording the corrected score, not the initial attempt.
In Storyline 360, reporting is controlled by the Results Slide. If you are forcing retries on individual questions, the reported score reflects those eventual correct answers. To capture more meaningful performance data, you can allow learners to submit answers without forcing correction per question and instead require a passing score on the Results Slide. When you publish for LMS using SCORM or xAPI, that score is what gets sent.
In Rise 360, it depends on what you are using. Knowledge Check blocks are practice only and do not report to your LMS. Quiz Lessons, however, do send a score and let you require a passing percentage. If you need trackable results in Rise, a Quiz Lesson is the right choice.
A common setup is to use knowledge checks throughout for reinforcement, then include one graded quiz to determine completion. That gives you real reporting data without losing the learning experience.
If you would like to share which tool you are using, I am happy to help you pinpoint the exact setting to adjust.
Hi LaurenDuvall thank you so much for your response. Yes, we would like to set up knowledge checks throughout for reinforcement -- but just confirming those results won't be captured, only the quiz at the end of the entire course, correct?
We are using Rise 360. I'd love some help with getting the settings right so that we can take advantage of these features if possible. We import the SCORM file into Docebo, so I also want to confirm that we can see the results either in the LMS or back in Rise.
Thanks!!

Thanks for jumping into this discussion, JohnCooper-be3c! It looks like elianameligas is using Rise 360.
Happy to share a few specifics about how Rise 360 works with Docebo.
You’ve got it right, elianameligas. Knowledge Checks don’t send results to your LMS. Only a Quiz Lesson reports a score to Docebo.
Here’s how to make sure everything tracks as expected:
- Add a graded Quiz Lesson to your course
- Set a passing score
- Publish for LMS
- Choose Track using quiz result
Once you’ve done that, Docebo will display the learner’s quiz score.
Keep in mind that Rise doesn’t retain individual learner results after you publish to an LMS. The LMS handles reporting from there!
